Before he became famous as a Confederate General during the Civil War, Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson was a professor at the Virginia Military Institute. There, he taught Natural and Experimental Philosophy to cadets. Many of the topics that Jackson taught his students would be part of a physics class today. Join us at the Stonewall Jackson House as we dig deeper into these topics, participating in hands-on experiments and activities to learn more about light, sound, mechanics, astronomy, and gardening!

Space is limited and registration is first come, first served. Confirmation will be sent as soon as payment and registration are received. All payments are non-refundable. Please be on time as activities will start promptly.
