Live music, activities for children, and we will be pressing apple cider. Outdoor activities are free.
Standard admission for tours of the house from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last tour beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson’s Birth

Commemorate the 187th anniversary of the birth of the famous Confederate General, Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson. In his honor, free tours of the house will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the hour and the half hour, with the last tour beginning at 4:30 p.m. Birthday cake and hot spiced cider will be served next door at the Davidson-Tucker House, located at 10 East Washington Street.

Free tours for women who had babies in the Jackson House, and for individuals who were born there during the years when it was Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Tours are from 1:00 to 5:00 and the last tour begins at 4:30. (Regular admission fees apply for all other visitors.)
