Mother's Day

Free tours of the Stonewall Jackson House will be offered on Mother's Day to mothers who had babies in the house and children who were born in the house from 1906 until 1954 when the Stonewall Jackson House was a hospital.

On Mother's Day in 1986, the Stonewall Jackson House Birthday Club was established for those who were born in the old Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. Individuals may enroll in the Birthday Club by filling out an application at the Jackson House and paying the application fee. Members receive an official certificate of membership suitable for framing. Proceeds from the membership help support the museum and its educational programs.
